Billing and payments
Portpeek is currently free to use. No payment is required and no payment is accepted.
A paid Pro tier at €9 per month is planned but not yet available. When launched, the following billing terms will apply:
- What you get: Higher port limits per check (up to 32), multi-host comparison, and priority support.
- Billing period: Monthly, billed in advance on the day you subscribe. No annual or multi-month plans are offered.
- Failed payment: If a payment fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days. Access to Pro features is suspended until payment clears. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and downgraded to Free at the end of the current billing period.
- Refund policy: All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law. There is no free trial at launch.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current paid month. No partial refunds for unused time.
- Processor: Payments will be processed by Stripe. Portpeek does not see or store full credit card numbers. No payment processor is connected yet — Pro subscriptions cannot be purchased today.
These billing terms will become effective only when the Pro tier is launched and a payment processor is connected. Until then, the Free tier is the only option.
What this tool does
Portpeek is a port reachability checker. It opens outbound TCP connections to user-specified hostnames and ports and reports whether each port is open, refused, or timed out. That is its entire function.
What this tool does not do
Portpeek does not:
- Create accounts, store user data, or maintain sessions
- Send email, alerts, reminders, or notifications
- Perform port scanning, host enumeration, or network discovery
- Check port 25 (outbound SMTP is blocked on our platform)
- Log, save, or retain any information about the checks you perform
Acceptable use
You agree to use Portpeek only to check reachability of hosts you own or have permission to test. You may not use the tool to probe, scan, or enumerate networks or hosts that you do not own or have explicit authorization to test.
No warranties
Portpeek is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator makes no guarantees about the accuracy, availability, or reliability of the results. Network conditions vary, and a single measurement is not a guarantee of sustained reachability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use this tool.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. When the operator registers a legal entity, these terms will be updated with the entity name, address, and governing law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Governing law
No governing law has been specified because no legal entity has been registered. This section will be updated when a jurisdiction is established.
